US State Quarters Collection

At last I finished the 50 US State Quarters collection. Each year for the last 10 years US Mint has been releasing quarters with US states on them. The program started in 1999 and with last year being the final year of the program the series of Quarters ended.

Each year Quarters of 5 different States were released. First being release in 1999 and last one in 2008. The last one was Hawaii. Well it released sometime in late 2008 but I couldn't get it till now. My friend Chakardhar Rao gave it to me when he came across one when we was about to do laundry.

Till I came to US I never knew about all this. My roommate Manoj Patnaik (Dada) used to collect them. Seeing his collection I got intersted. So I started my own. It was easy to collect the old ones which were already in circulation but from 2005 onwards it was like I have to wait for every new one. And atlast in March 2009 I finally completed the collection.
